The Wiki && FAQ answer this question. The server has to receive Accounting-Request packets.
We have some devices connected/disconnected going on for about 2 weeks but yet I did not see any record in the "radacct" table.
The server doesn't invent accounting data. It gets accounting data from the NAS. So... is the NAS sending accounting packets? Alan DeKok.
