I think I might need to try with different certs. I've read rumblings that MikroTik's built-in PKI can cause strange problems in other instances, and it may be the same thing here. The issue is that the function tls_handshake_recv() is returning 0, but isn't printing a message saying why. You'll have to instrument the code to see.
I've seen other issues with iPhones getting connected. But never this.
