For speed, the server doesn't have locks all over the place. However, this means that when it runs threaded, the client can receive the response, and send a new one using the same ID, before the child thread has a chance to update child_state. http://git.freeradius.org/ Sub-directory "build/". I don't want to post a direct link here, as I don't (yet) want it indexed, etc. The code is still in experimental use. We now have a build tool that will to basic checks of every new revision of the server. It will create pre-release "tar" files, and even debian packages (containing EAP with SSL!) We'll be using this in the future to avoid the issues seen in previous releases. When we plan on releasing a version of the server, we'll make an announcement on this list. PLEASE try the tar files on that page. If there are no complaints, they will be used as the basis for the release. Alan DeKok.

gigawords and bandwith

Hi, i'm new here and i need your help in the following 2 points. Point 1: Acct-Input/Output-Gigawords Point 2: Bandwithlimit with PPP and PPPoE My system: debian with kernel 2.6.8-2-386, Roaring Penguin PPPoE Version 3.10, PPP 2.4.4 (not quit sure) and MySQL 4.1.10a. Point 1) After I recognized that the accounting data (acct-input/output-octet) will set to zero if the user downloaded more than 4 GB I added to sql.conf and to table radacct the parameter acct-input/output-gigawords. But It won't be filled with data, it's always zero. 32bit Integers in rlm_sqlcounter

Is there a specific requirement for rlm_sqlcounter to be using 32bit integers internally? I know that the attribute pair returned must be an integer. I am however having a problem in using sqlcounter for octet counting where the sum of radacct values and the check_value are both more than 32bit integers while the difference is much smaller. Freeradius PAM module compilation error

Hi, I'm trying to compile the PAM module without any greater luck. Make gives me: ld -Bshareable pam_radius_auth.o md5.o -lapm -o pam_radius_auth.so ld: cannot find -lpam make: *** [pam_radius_auth.so] Error 1 I cound really use some help on this one. Thanks Robert
