Problems authenticating and assigning DHCP addresses

I am running Freeradius-1.0.4 from source. Radius is accessed by XP requesting through a Cisco AP. I am running PEAP (MS-CHAP-V2) w/ SQL. My first question is: How do I tie all of this together with a DHCPd server, so that they authenticated clients can be assigned an IP address. I am using VLAN tunnel attributes so that, when DHCP support /is/ implemented, I can assign different IP addresses with different access privileges. How can I implement a DHCPd server into my configuration? Second question: How can I authenticate against a Crypt-Password, in SQL? I am able to receive an Access-Accept when using a clear text password (Attribute=Password), through XP. I receive: rlm_eap_tls: Done initial handshake eaptls_process returned 7 rlm_eap_peap: EAPTLS_OK rlm_eap_peap: Session established. hotspotlogin.cgi problem

Hi, I have set up a FreeRadius server which I am trying to access from Chilli on a Linksys AP running DD-WRT and Chilli. Radtest shows that the Radius server is running and Chilli is directing users to /cgi- bin/hotspotlogin.cgi. However this produces an internal server error from Apache. If I send users to /cgi-bin/test.cgi the test page loads with no errors. I have no idea where to start looking for a solution. Any advice or pointers to where I've gone wrong would be very much appreciated. Regards, Sean Bracken

Hi! Im using FreeRadius (1.0.2, 1.0.3) for proxying only. My proxy.conf: realm LOCAL { type = radius authhost = LOCAL accthost = LOCAL } realm NULL { type = radius authhost = 192.168.1.1:1812 accthost = 192.168.1.1:1813 secret = key1 } realm provider.com { type = radius authhost = 10.1.1.1:1645 accthost = 10.1.1.1:1646 secret = key2 nostrip } I need some users, who called "555555" (any names or realms) authenticate and accounting local via start/alive/stop scripts. Authentication work perfectly: Im added to users: DEFAULT Auth-Type = Accept, Called-Station-Id == "555555", Proxy-To-Realm := LOCAL Exec-Program-Wait = "/usr/local/bin/555555-auth.pl" But accounting with similar config dont work. My acct_users: DEFAULT Proxy-To-Realm := LOCAL, Called-Station-Id == "555555" Exec-Program = /usr/local/bin/555555-acct.pl I see in logs WARNING: Cancelling proxy to Realm LOCAL, as the realm is local. But freeradius DONT send Accounting-Response to NAS and NAS continue re-sending accounting packets. hi, according to rfc2865 value 5 of attr 6 should be named "Outbound" and not "Outbound-User" (if i have read the rfc well) and that causes all my dial-out's fail after installing v1.0.4 because all users where configured with "Outbound". even though fixing was dead easy - have i misunderstood the rfc? -gerald

Need help installing 1.0.4 on RHEL update 4

I am not a RHEL expert, but have installed the 1.0.1 RPM of freeradius. I am trying to get freeradius to authenticate against a Windows 2003 Active Directory. Once I can get radtest to work on the server I'll configure the clients (Cisco VPN 3005 and console access for all my other Cisco rotuers, switches, etc). Authenticating to a Windows 2003 active directory

Does anyone have a working radiusd.conf and users file I could see as I have been unsuccessful configuring Freeradius 1.0.1 to talk to my Active Directory.
