Freeradius authentication agains Domino

Hi! I have a Domino (6.5.4FP3) ldap which I would like to use as a backend for freeradius. My clients (winxp) uses eap-mschapv2, would it be possible for freeradius to match the password from the domino with the one supplied by the client? If it ain't possible what would it take to achieve it? I'm sorry if the question has been asked too many times, but I can't find a answer on the net or in this list.... Thanks -CP

NAS-Group? - different replies to different NASes?

Hello Everyone, I need help setting up custom replies for each NAS in my organization. I.E I have NAS A and NAS B When NAS A communicates with our Radius Server (Freeradius) I want to send back Tunnel attributes on domain matching. (i.e *(a)domain.com - a set of tunnel attributes Service-Type, Tunnel-Password, Tunnel-Type...etc - not user specific). When NAS B communicates with our Radius I want to send back specific information about the user it's requesting (i.e user(a)domain.com - Framed-IP, Framed-Netmask...etc) Since both requests are addressed to domain.com how can I selectively allow only certain responses to NAS A and others to NAS B? OK Alan, i`m not advanced freeradius user`s, i`m trying to learn this. I just need help to configure, you can help me ? My freeradius running ok, not show error messages, but not work.... The client (AP) associated in radius, my final client (notebook) associated on AP, but....nothing happens... I search any documents about this, but anyone work. What do you need to help me ? and you can do ? I need this to my job, we are a ISP, and implanting radius, to authenticate clients.... Freeradius-client in pppd

I need the feature to specify the local ip address for the radius requests in PPPd and I see that freeradius-client-1.1.5 has that feature. Hi, Is it possible to altogether avoid authenticate section and just do ldap lookups in the authorize section? authorize { ldap { notfound = reject } } The problem is in the authenticate section, radius gets the userDN from the authorize and tries to "bind" ldap with password which we don't have. I also tried in users file Ldap-UserDN := `cn=Manager,dc=eng,dc=com/answer2` But for some reason it is not working. Please help. Let me know if you need more information or please guide me to any documentation. Two 'secret' entries in clients.conf

Hello, Our network group is going to be changing the 'secret' for all of their gear but they are going to do it in stages. I was wondering if there is a way to have two 'secret' entries in the clients.conf file. Leave the original until the change is complete and have the new 'secret' also available for the devices that have changed their 'secret'. I saw in the wiki(http://wiki.freeradius.org/index.php/Clients.conf) this little bit of the config and was wondering if it would work. The only difference in the below portion of that page is one has a /24 and the other a /16 also the 'shortname' is different. Can the two stanzas both have the same CIDR and can the 'shortnames' be the same or do they have to be different? Hi, I really need help with this one. I'm setting up Freeradius 1.1.4 on a SUSE 10 server for our wireless users with XP SP2 using PEAP. Because we use eDirectory I strip the computer name from the username, not every users uses the Novell client. The user get authorize but I can't get the authentication to work. For some reason the first character of the users password is change for a "a", if the first character is a "a" then it is change for something else. ??? I installed the 885453 and 917021 patches for Windows XP SP2 and changed the supplicant mode to 3, didn't help. This problem does not occur with users using the Novell client SP4. I included a few lines from the debug, the password should be mypassw instead of aypassw. clients.conf and SQL?

Hi, I can't seem to find any reference to making the contents of the clients.conf accessible via SQL. We are constantly making edits, and having to constantly reload the server doesn't make sense. Pointers to where I missed putting it into MySQL, or if anyone knows how to would be appreciated. Thanks, Tuc
