Hi, I tried to execute a billing script as follows: accounting{ sql exec /etc/billing/bill } But, I am getting: /usr/local/etc/raddb/sites-enabled/default[350]: Expecting section start brace '{' after "exec /home/billing/bill" Errors reading /usr/local/etc/raddb/radiusd.conf What is wrong with my syntax? Is there any sample that I can refer to? I checked the unlan, but I could not find anything that mentions the variable that I can use to pass to the script. What I like to do is to call the script: exec /etc/billing/bill <radacctid> That way, I can know which line to process. Thanks for any suggestion. Regards, Pete

FreeRadius and CoovaAP

Hello list, Has anybody implemented CoovaAP with FreeRadius talking to LDAP (Win 2003 Active Directory)? I've been attempting to configure CoovaAP to authenticate against Active Directory using FreeRadius binded to LDAP. The LDAP binding goes fine. I can also successfully authenticate a user with a radtest command from the local machine. I run into problems when I enter a username and password into the authentication page on my WRT54GL running CoovaAP. The password is passed to FreeRadius as CHAP. LDAP fails with the error "User-Password" is required for authentication. Cannot use "CHAP-Password" Is it possible for CoovaAP to pass usernames and passwords in a form that LDAP can authenticate? I've been considering editing the ChilliLibrary.js on the WRT54GL but that seems like a heavy handed (and likely ineffective) way of going about it. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Yes, That's exactly my point. CHAP will not work. We've been using the internal Chillispot captive portal on a WRT54GL running the CoovaAP firmware. Is there any way of using that internal captive portal but having it send PAP passwords instead of CHAP? It would be much easier for my configuration if that internal portal was being used rather than an external page. dhcp server (DHCPFlags feature)

It's not bug ... but some feature. After some testing, i figured out, that some dhcp clients (udhcp) in discover message havn't set broadcast flag, so replay is also unicast. And thease clients can't get ip address. Is it possilbe to allow update DHCP-Flags in replay, i've tried in update section: DHCPFlags = Broadcast But looks like without success. Haralds

Weird windows issue

Hi, this is a weird one for ya'll. windows clients (xp sp2 and what not) can be configured to pass there credentials along to wireless when they authenticate to the computer(to the AD domain). that seems to work fine. then randomly it seems to stop working and their login seems to be wrong. ideas? DHCP and dynamic ip allocation from a pool

Does anybody already implemented dynamic allocation of ips from pool? Or any ideas? In fact, main problem in native rlm_sql_ippool is that "freeing" of ip is done via accounting section - and there is no analog of Stop packet in dhcp (but it can be simulated, using Lease-Time) -- With best regards, Evgeniy Kozhuhovskiy, Leader of Services team, Minsk State Phony Network, RUE Beltelecom.
