Simultaneous-Use in proxy

Hello everyone, I need to restrict simultaneous logins but the freeradius server which receives the authentication does not implement this restriction. This server receives the authentication different departments and this restriction should only be applied in my department. It is possible to create a proxy that forwards authentication for global freeradius server and controls the simultaneous logins? How to return the parameter Simultaneous-Use via proxy? If you follow these guidelines, it is very likely that your question, bug report or pull request will be acted on, and in a timely manor. If you choose to ignore these guidelines our response will be a link to this document. 1.GITHUB ISSUE TRACKER The GitHub issue tracker is for non-security related defect reports, feature requests, and pull-requests ONLY. It is not for support requests or questions regarding configuration/operation of the server, they belong on the users mailing list: http://freeradius.org/list/users.html Raising support requests or questions as issues will result in them being closed and locked. If you continue to raise these questions as issues you will be banned from the FreeRADIUS project's GitHub repositories. Hi, I'm having trouble getting FreeRADIUS to recognize the group of a user using sql. I'm running version 3.0.8, and as far as I can tell, everything runs smoothly up to the authorize_group_check_query. Trouble with freeradius and ldap groups

Hi, I'm currently configuring freeradius with an openldap backend for network device authentication. For each vender I have to add a set of attributes to my ldap user, then I can log in with the desired access. So far this is working as expecting (mostly, but i'll save that for a different thread). I don't want to have to added each of the specific attributes into each ldap user who needs admin access. Instead I want to make the admin users members of an ldap group which contains the needed attributes. I cannot get freeradius to use the ldap groups (and don't ever see it send ldap queries for groups). in my modules/ldap file I have: groupname_attribute = cn groupmembership_filter = "(member=%{control:Ldap-UserDn})" groupmembership_attribute = radiusGroupName Does anyone have an example of how this is supposed to be configured?

Prevent login for valid but unauthorized users.

I realize this is somewhat vendor specific, but was hoping there is a general method to handle this in freeradius. Currently using freeradius 2.1.12 with openldap 2.4.23. - Login with my ldap credentials works. - My admin users with appropriate attributes get privilege level 15. - ALL valid users are able to log in and do at least some show commands. I want to prevent login entirely by default for all of my ldap users. What is the best way to do this? What may be complicating this, is that all the users have radiusProfile in their ldap accounts which is needed for our vpn access.

radtest works but Device Fails Authentication

Hi, I have the FreeRadius setup to use ntlm_auth for authentication. When I use radtest utility to test the setup, it returns Access-Accept. However, when I use the same credentials on a Juniper firewall, it gets Access-Reject with NT_STATUS_WRONG_PASSWORD: Wrong Password. Any idea what could be wrong? Apparently, the Juniper is changing the password when it's presenting it to freeRadius. Thanks.
