Segmentation fault (Core dumped) when running freeradius -X and using EAP-TLS (tls1.2)

Hello,
I am experiencing some issues while trying to debug freeradius with clients using EAP-TLS (tls1.2). When the client certificates are about to be presented, I receive a Segmentation fault (core dumped). I have tried to find if anyone has had similar issue, but I have been unable to find this.
Freeradius version 3.0.26
Openssl version 3.0.2
Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

Hi
Just trying to get the TOTP module working on 3.2.x using the latest RPM
package of 3.2.4.1
However noticed that the default config is 8 digits for the OTP Length in
the 3.2 branch

However this commit that was merged into master should be pulled into the
3.2 branch to default to 6 digits.

If you wanted to follow the rfc6238 spec to the letter then the default is:
Hash: SHA1
Length: 6 Digits
Time-step Size: 30 Seconds
But I know there are various implementations that support:
Hash: SHA1 or SHA256
Digit: 6 or 8 Digits
Time-step Size: 30 or 60 Seconds
Additionally if hardware TOTP tokens are being used there is an issue where
the time set when manufactured can get wildly out of skew as I have had
more than one device that arrived that wasn't synced to UTC. The worst I
have seen was a hardware token over 3 minutes behind.
So if someone was looking to make changes in the module adding a per device
hardware skew with a set number of seconds plus or minus UTC such as:
TOTP-HardwareSkew = -180
Or similar to set the number of seconds the particular hardware token is
known to be out of skew.
I know patches are always welcome, but pulling the commit into 3.2 would be
appreciated.

built the rpms on alma8 using redhat/freeradius.spec, noticed python was compiled successfully and installed on an alma8 machine.

Hi all,
We have some radius server pods with an external load balancer in front of
them. So, when the TLS requests come from the load balancer, there will be
an error sometimes as follows:

Hi there
I wrote several modules which share similar logic and the same DB backend. Right now I'm using a source file for this purpose which is included in every module's SOURCES variable (all.mk).
I don't like this approach very much. But are there better alternatives?
I could add the shared code as a library. But it uses Freeradius functions, so I had to build it somewhere in the Freeradius source tree... At this point I am overwhelmed with my little knowledge...

Hi All,
I am trying to anable MS Chap v2 auth from Radius in PHP with FreeRadius standalone without active Directory to test if the integration works.
The challenges keeps getting sent, irrespective if password is right or wrong. Logging is also not happening when doing a MSChapv2 auth. Logging is happening when doing ms-chap-v1, pap , chap-md5.
Tried clear password, MD5 and NT password and MS-CHAP-Use-NTLM-Auth with yes and 1.

We have tons of Red Hat 8 workstations that authenticate using a certificate / dot1x / freeradius and work perfectly. I cannot get the Windows 10 workstation to work, authenticate with dot1x, or receive its proper VLAN. I've searched around for answers and changed a few things noted below.

I got an error "Failed retrieving values required to evaluate condition"
when checking service-type in if condition in default config file. It seems
that the client does not send requests with service-type attributes. My
question is, is it necessary to send service-type attribute by client side
or do we need to check also if there is a service-type attribute?

Dear all
(FreeRADIUS 3.0.26 on Ubuntu 22.04)
I am trying to get a MFA setup working with an initial LDAP direct bind against Microsoft AD (MAD) and then a second
pass with the same username and a OTP. I can get both the LDAP and OTP working fine individually.
I am using the wiki Howto: https://wiki.freeradius.org/guide/2FA-Active-Directory-plus-Proxy as a model. This howto
uses "State" to determine which Auth-Type it is at in the process. At the end of the howto there is a section that
describes filtering out the State attribute for Pre-Proxy and I think this is where I am getting things wrong.
I'm not sure what "State" is. I am unable to find docs about it but it is the only input difference I can see when
running "freeradius -fX" so I think I need to filter it out. I'm not sure why I should filter it out either!
If attr_filter is what I should do to get this to work, I'd be grateful for some help. I've also deviated from the
howto example by trying to decompose "challenge" into what it actually does:

With the site-enabled config below, the debug logs show that the initial user/pass against LDAP works fine and State
gets set to a 16 random char. Then it tries to do a second pass and I can see the username and password (which is now
the PIN for the OTP) passed through and so is the "State" that got set by stage one. This second pass fails and when I
compare the logs against just the OTP method that works, "State" is the only additional input.
